C2W (Click-To-Wear) — RedDAO Digital Fashion 1st Prize 2023 | VRM Avatar Collection
C2W (Click-To-Wear) is Decentralize Design's award-winning digital fashion collection — winner of the RedDAO Digital Fashion 1st Prize 2023, one of the most prestigious honors in the blockchain fashion space. Created during the VCA (Virtual Creative Agency) × Draup Virtual Fashion Residency, C2W redefines what a wearable can be when freed from physical form.
The collection features interoperable VRM (Virtual Reality Model) avatar wearables designed for the open metaverse. VRM is the cross-platform standard for humanoid 3D avatars, meaning C2W garments can be worn across compatible metaverse platforms — from VRChat to Hyperfy to cluster. Unlike traditional fashion, C2W pieces are not constrained by fabric physics, manufacturing costs, or material availability. They can morph, animate, emit light, and inhabit impossible geometries.
The C2W runway event was held on 9 November 2023 as a ticketed virtual event ($20 entry), streamed live from Hyperfy. The show combined choreographed VRM avatar presentations with spatial audio and real-time 3D environmental design. A full recording is available on YouTube, documenting the unprecedented fusion of digital fashion and metaverse spatial design.
C2W is blockchain-authenticated: each piece is minted as an NFT on Ethereum, creating verifiable provenance and ownership for collectors. The collection is available on OpenSea under the DFW Design collection.
C2W2 — Click-To-Wear Season 2 | Virtual Fashion Runway on Hyperfy
C2W2 (Click-To-Wear Season 2) is the ambitious second chapter of Decentralize Design's virtual fashion narrative. Building on the success and critical acclaim of C2W, the second season expands the scope: more garments, a more sophisticated virtual runway environment, enhanced choreography, and two distinct runway versions — the Show Version and the Minted Commercial Version.
The Show Version recording (45 minutes, available on YouTube) captures the live event performance with real-time audience interaction on Hyperfy. The Minted Commercial Version (40 minutes) is a curated edit using only non-copyrighted audio, making it distributable across all platforms. Both versions were recorded in 4K directly from the browser — a technical achievement that demonstrates the production quality achievable with WebXR and browser-native rendering.
The C2W2 PDF documentation booklet, also available as a 10-minute video on YouTube, provides deep context on the collection's conceptual framework: the philosophy of "click-to-wear" as a rejection of physical fashion constraints, the technical specifications of each VRM garment, and the narrative arc connecting the pieces. A companion "MEDITATION" video (10 minutes) offers a freeflow creative process documentation from the designer's perspective.
C2W2 garments are available as blockchain NFTs on OpenSea (DFW Design collection), with each piece representing a unique, ownable, interoperable digital fashion asset for the open metaverse.
Why We Exist — WebXR Virtual Theater No. 1 | Digital Consciousness
"Why We Exist?" is the first installment of Decentralize Design's Virtual Theater Series — a trio of immersive WebXR experiences exploring digital consciousness, virtual existence, and the phenomenology of inhabiting simulated space. The 30-minute theater piece is accessible directly from any modern web browser, with optional VR headset support via WebXR API.
The experience takes place inside a purpose-built Hyperfy virtual environment, where participants encounter spatial audio, dynamic lighting, moving 3D architectural elements, and scripted narrative sequences. The piece interrogates foundational questions of digital ontology: what does it mean to exist in virtual space? How does consciousness translate across the physical-digital divide? Is a digital being a being at all?
"Why We Exist?" premiered as part of Decentralize Design's ongoing investigation into WebXR as a medium for serious artistic and philosophical discourse — distinct from gaming, commerce, or social media. The full recording is available on YouTube for those who cannot attend a live session.
Balloon — Virtual Theater No. 2 | WebXR Immersive Experience
"Balloon No. 2" is the second work in the Decentralize Design Virtual Theater Series. A 10-minute WebXR theater piece, Balloon explores digital identity, memory, and the fragility of virtual presence through three acts of surreal spatial narrative. The experience is set in a custom-designed Hyperfy world featuring 32 distinct camera angles and seamless act transitions.
The cinematography reel (5 minutes, available on YouTube) showcases the visual language of Balloon: dynamic camera choreography, spatial transitions, and the layering of 3D architectural space with narrative tension. The full recording (10 minutes) documents a complete performance session.
Balloon continues the studio's exploration of the virtual stage as a site for genuine artistic experience. The production demonstrates that browser-based WebXR can achieve cinematic production values rivaling dedicated VR applications — without requiring any software installation.
Hatch — Virtual Theater No. 3 | Human-AI Ethics & Digital Consciousness
"Hatch" is the third and most philosophically ambitious installment of the Decentralize Design Virtual Theater Series. A 35-minute WebXR theater experience, Hatch confronts the ethics of human-AI relationships, the nature of digital consciousness, and the question of moral consideration for simulated beings.
Set in a purpose-designed Hyperfy environment, Hatch uses spatial audio, environmental storytelling, and dynamic 3D architecture to construct an argument rather than merely a narrative. The work engages directly with contemporary debates in AI ethics, digital phenomenology, and the philosophy of mind — delivered through the emerging medium of WebXR theater.
The full 35-minute recording of Hatch is available on YouTube. Hatch represents the current frontier of Decentralize Design's theater practice: the most technically sophisticated production to date, and the most conceptually dense. The experience is accessible from any modern browser at decentralize.design.
Digital Topographies — 50+ Virtual Architectural NFT Collection on OpenSea
Digital Topographies is Decentralize Design's foundational architectural collection: 50+ virtual 3D models reimagining what architecture becomes when physical constraints are removed. No structural engineering requirements. No weather resistance. No gravity. No material costs. Each topography is a speculation on form, space, and experience possible only in the digital realm.
The collection spans typologies from intimate residential-scale spaces to vast infrastructural interventions. Some pieces evoke familiar architectural references — the suspended plane, the void, the threshold — but push them to logical extremes impossible in physical construction. Others depart from architectural tradition entirely, exploring purely digital spatial logics with no physical analog.
All 50+ models are available as GLB/GLTF files optimized for real-time WebXR rendering, and are viewable in the Scaffold virtual museum on Hyperfy. Each model is blockchain-authenticated as an NFT on OpenSea under the Digital Topographies collection, creating verifiable provenance for collectors and institutions building metaverse cultural infrastructure.
The collection is continuously growing. New topographies are added as Decentralize Design explores further formal and spatial possibilities of the digital architectural medium.
Neue² Dojo — Virtual Art Gallery | 340 Blockchain Artworks
Neue² Dojo is Decentralize Design's vision for decentralized art curation: a virtual art gallery housing 340 artworks on the blockchain, inspired by the minimalist spatial logic of Mies van der Rohe. The gallery provides an institutional-quality exhibition environment for digital art, accessible globally without geographic or economic barriers.
The name references both the Bauhaus tradition ("Neue" — new) and the Japanese martial arts training space (Dojo), suggesting a space of rigorous practice and disciplined attention. The design strips the gallery to essentials: clean volumes, precise lighting, and the artwork itself as the primary experience.
